I was asked many times about how to Make Money Online. Many of them had some knowledge on PPC but no clue on affiliate programs.

PPC is good if you target audience has no Interest in purchasing. Affiliates programs are great if your targeted audience are looking to buy thing.

Now, let me explain this matter in a bit detail.

As you have read the rest of the articles within this site you may know by now that the domain names plays a major role in successful Make money Online business.

So, my domain name StratBody.com attracts visitors who are searching to replace their strat body. Thus it is better for me to align my site to affiliates program than PPC. On the other hand CrispyChocolate.com attracts Kids thus I use PPC since kids do not have the authority to buy online.

If you ever want to be successful in Make Money Online then you have to analyze your domain and create the site accordingly.

it widely believed that the dot com is the best and one must always go for a dot com.  The reasoning for this paradox are as follows . . .

Search Engine ranks dot com higher – Is that true? Do some research by your self. Search something and see ob the .com of the keyword you searched rank first. Many times it is not the case. Search for “DomainStreet.com” and see what is ranking at top. As you can see for your self, it is the DomainStreet.org ranks first. What happened to .com?

Type in traffic – Yes this is true for now and not in the future. If you just type the keyword into the address bar of your browser (Firefox, ie) they revert to the keyword.com site if it exist. This traffic shouldn’t be considered as static since in the near future the same browsers will revert to the country code domains. Thus in the near future the Keyword.ccTLD will be the number one in search engines. Why?

What I have found is that the keyword domain names are good for SEO. One important aspect in SEO is the keyword in link. This can be archived by creating a category in CMS and using the permalink feature in CMS. Almost all the CMS provides this feature today. The ranking take note of the keyword placement in the link. A leading keyword has more weight than a tailing one.

Conclusion: You don’t need the dot com to rank higher. Known extensions such as net, org, info, co.uk and us are good for developing. Focus more on SEO to rank better. Posts related to how to SEO can be found within this site. Develop your site to make money online. Parking do not pay anymore!

Tips for Newbie Domainers: I think, the ccTLD will be more valuable in the future than gTLD. Genetic ccTLD is the one to invest.
