Cash the Web

Sounds Nonsense? Ye! It was to me too until last Tuesday. But not any more!

I received an email from Google stating that my account is banned because there were invalid clicks. For a moment, I was shocked! Read the mail again, yes that’s what the e-mail stated. Another surprise is that there is no mention of where the invalid click come from or executed. Thus you have to believe blindly what is told to you!

I started to brain storm how this could have happened! I never asked anyone to click on ads on my site. But I did the marketing within my FaceBook, Digg, stumble, Reddit, etc. In my opinion there is nothing wrong about it.

Do you agree with me?

The other possibility is my shared Internet connection. I do share my ADSL connection with my neighbors through a wireless router. They got to know about my web site through FaceBook. I think they could have clicked some of the ads!

Since the IP would point back to the connection I am on, Google thought the clicks originated from me! Fine, but I explained the situation to Google in the only one appeal you can make!

One thing is clear. Getting AdSense account band is easier than writing this post.

I am yet to receive a reply to my appeal, if they opt to reply. Will follow up and post here!
