Make money online is not a “Get rich quick” thing or what ever you want to call it. So if you can’t dedicate a good amount of time daily in the beginning, I suggest you drop this idea and move on.

You will have to write a lot in the beginning or get some one to do it for you. Making money online is not difficult if you have the time and skills. It is the amount of time and dedication, make many to drop within a year of starting a website or blog to make money online. You better think again. The advantage of starting a blog to make money online is that you can work from home and do so when ever you feel like working. Now that’s the sound of freedom.

By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.

• What are you going to write in your blog? Read your competitors site. Take time to understand how you are different from them and how you want to put them on a paper. What ever you put on a paper can be published as a web page. So if you are comfortable go ahead and write them on your notebook.
• What is the system you are about to use to manage your content? For the purpose of blogging, I recommend WordPress. There are many open source CMS. If you don’t know what CMS is or which one to choose, then read more about CMS here.
• How to publicize your site? Once you have your site live, you should let every one know that you have a site out there with information. publish to RSS archives, Article directory list etc.
• How are you planning to monetize your visitors? Now, don’t get me wrong for saying monetize your visitor. The more visitors you get to your site, the more you will earn. Thus you are not going to monetize your site or its content, rather you will be monetizing your hits. You know, hits are generated by your site’s visitors.

So you have enough home work for now.

Get them done as you please and continue with “Action”. (One of the reasons to start “make money online” is to work from home as you please, right?)
